Currently, there are not many patterns for historical costumes on this site, but there are certainly more coming! In addition, I’ll be adding articles on how to make your own reenactment costume patterns, or make period costumes without patterns.

Reenactment shoe patterns are surprisingly easier than you’d think at first glance. At least, for the earlier time periods. Medieval shoes are usually made from one piece of leather per foot! Granted, once you get into the 1600’s and later, shoes become considerably more complicated.
